WHY THE BUFFALO?
On the plains, both bison and cattle can sense when a storm is approaching. However, the two seemingly similar animals handle the impending whether very differently. A cow will turn away from the storm and try to out run it, having little self-awareness of how slowly they move. A bison will turn toward the storm and charge it head on. Thus, decreasing the amount of time and suffering within the storm as it passes traveling the opposite direction.
